The iPhone 2.0 volume control appears to be buggy on the iPod touch. There appears to be two sets of volume control settings - the usual iPod control, and something that appears to be leftover from the iPhone 'ringer' control. It is possible to get both sets of controls to show up on the 'standby' screen -- but this is where the bugs become apparent:While settings on the 'ringer' control propagate to the iPod, the reverse is not true, so one can set the iPod volume, and find that the 'ringer' volume remains at the previous level.
