PLEASE READ THIS FIRST BY PRESSING "More info"!BG music: Jacky Cheung, CoffeeThis is a response to loveutube77's video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZ3oyo-irJ4I had to post this link because loveutube77 removed my video from his response list, it figures. Anyways, feel free to comment.Update: Kicked out again from the response list.Note that this video is only 5:45 minutes, somehow youtube made it 7:07, don't waste your time; there's nothing after I say "Thanks for watching!"This guy says that he doesn't mean to be racist. Whatever, but I don't see how he has any good intentions. His screenname on autoblog is "I_Hate_China"! How the heck can he not be biased?Link to his profile:http://www.autoblog.com/profile/42574/Link to one of his posts; basically exactly the same as his video's discription:http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/22/brilliance-bs6s-adac-crash-test-is-anything-but/6This video shows first how China's BS6 got 3/5 stars after revisions. It also shows many Japanese/Korean cars which also got horrible crash test ratings. Just because you buy a car from an established country doesn't mean it's safe. China just barely entered the foreign car market & they are where korea was 20 years ago and japan almost 40 years ago, give them time and they will improve.Ironically, the crappy 2005 Landwind which also got 0 stars was based on an older 1991-1998 version of the Isuzu Rodeo's chassis. Seems like Japanese engineering isn't all it's cracked up to be, even with a large (and I mean LARGE, almost 40 years) head start in the industry, but I'm a fair person & I will note most early pickups/SUVs were not designed for crash protection.Sources:Brilliance BS6: 0/5 stars then 3/5 starshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F06LjugtIUohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPw26Nfze_Qstruck star = unacceptably high risk of life threatening injuryall stars out of 5.2008 Nissan Navara, Euro-NCAP 1 star (struck star)http://www.euroncap.com/tests/nissan_navara/317.aspxTo be fair Navara had a retest and revision like the BS6 & got 3 starshttp://www.euroncap.com/tests/nissan_navara_2008_2/319.aspx2008 Isuzu D-MAX/Rodeo, Euro-NCAP 2 stars (struck star)ADAC (same test Landwind and BS6 went through) 1 starhttp://www.euroncap.com/tests/isuzu_dmax_rodeo/316.aspxhttp://www.adac.de/Tests/Crash_Tests/Automodelle/isuzu_d_max_ab2008.asp2006-2009 Daewoo Kalos/Chevrolet Aveo, Euro-NCAP 2 stars (struck star)http://www.euroncap.com/tests/chevrolet_aveo_2006/250.aspx2003-2006 Kia Carnival/Sedona, Euro-NCAP 2 starshttp://www.euroncap.com/tests/kia_carnival_sedona_2003/167.aspxAs per United's request, I am including a link to the 2006-2008 Kia Carnival/Sedona which got 4 stars. I didn't include this before because it was a different generation from the 2003-2006(05?) model. I felt any car after 2005 was fair game since the Landwind was a 2005 model.http://www.euroncap.com/tests/kia_carnival_sedona_2006/269.aspxNote the car in the video is the 03-06(05?) model, so this link to the 06-08 model is not really a source. Thanks for the feedback!
