Flight data recorder from an aircraft that I bought off ebay. Also known as the black box, these record data from the plane so if it crashes, that data can be recovered and the cause of the crash determined. For this to be effective, obviously the black box needs to survive the crash, and therefor they are very durable and have the reputation for being indestructible. I am thinking of doing a durability test with this one in the summer.
