This 2009? LA Autoshow had no hype and no show from a lot of car manufacturers, the presence of the BIG 3 automakers definitely showed a lot of reserve. Dodge didn't even have lighting setup over their display. GM's booth showed little traffic, however Ford's introduction of their not so appealing new mustang had people watching. Nissan shows off the new 370Z which looked quite alright, but again not as much hype as previous years intros in any car manufacturer. Attendance was low, and exhibits especially in the aftermarket area, half of the showroom floor was not even filled, showed that overall business was slow. All this was due to our financial meltdown over the last few months...
