This is the start of the very first 'proper' Mongol Rally from the T Bar? in London. The Five teams you see here were later joined by a Peugeot 205. Neither the 205 nor the Robin made the challenge. The Mongolian Ambassador to the UK gave a speech at the party, wishing the teams 'every luck in this most ridiculous of adventures'.
