yeahaaa finally got Xgl with FGLRX drivers for my ati radeon X 1600 mobility on the 17" imacusually the appereance manager says for fglrx drivers "the composite extension is not aviable" and when you try to run "compiz" in gnome-terminal , he says "driver not in whitelist"so what do you need to get it working? a nice guy from the irc mplayer channel gave me the code =)sudo apt-get install xserver-xglrestart xand then go to the appereance manager and you are able to enable the desktop effects :):):):)recorded using recordmydesktop and encoded using mencoder-----------------------now you can forget my sabayon linux vid.... I'm happy with ubuntu
